Pine Tree 8, Center 0
Danny Navarro's goal one minute into the game sparked the Pine Tree Pirates to an easy 8-0 win over the Center Roughriders in a District 16-4A contest at Pine Tree Stadium.
Jace Estes and Jordan Dubois each had a pair of goals. Tony Guillen, Michael Johnson and Krisjon Phillips each had one goal to round out the scoring.
Nathan Lo was credited with two assists and Dubois had one.
Pine Tree, now 7-3 in district and 12-8-1 overall, will visit the Kilgore Bulldogs on Tuesday in a key 16-4A matchup.

CENTER – Amy Holman scored the first two goals of the match in the first seven minutes, opening the floodgates as the Pine Tree Lady Pirates coasted to a 7-0 win over Center on Friday night.
The District 16-4A win moves Pine Tree to 7-0 and 15-3-3 on the season. Center is winless (0-7) in district.
Georgina Cabrera, Julie Vineyard, Ashley Johnson, Jaclyn Friday and Tiffany Gee also scored for the Lady Pirates, who outshot Center 33-0.
Credited with assists were Sarah Bean, Anne Lundby, Friday (2), Johnson, Holman and Gee.
Pine Tree will host Kilgore on Tuesday at Pine Tree Stadium. It will be Senior Night.
In the junior varsity game, Pine Tree won, 3-1.
