HUDSON – Pine Tree exploded for 10 goals as the Lady Pirates remained unbeaten in District 16-4A play with a 10-0 rout of Hudson on Tuesday night.
The Lady Pirates outshot the Lady Hornets on goal, 32-2. Pine Tree is now 14-3-3 on the season.
Amy Holman posted a hat trick, while Jaclyn Friday scored a pair of goal for the Lady Pirates. Stephanie Casto was credited with three assists, and freshman Carlyn Letherman had a pair of assists
Pine Tree got a shutout in goal from both it goalkeepers, Stephanie Linch and Shelli Small.
The Lady Pirates continue district Friday when they travel to Center. Game time is 6 p.m.

Pine Tree 15, Hudson 1
Behind Ryan Darr's hat trick in the first half and Jace Estes' similiar performance in the second, the Pine Tree Pirates routed Hudson 15-1 at Pine Tree Stadium.
With the victory, the Pirates improve to 5-3 in District 16-4A and 11-8-1, overall.
Jesse Reynolds and Nick Dobbs scored a pair of goals each for Pine Tree, while Tony Guillen, Nathan Lo, Abraham Lopez, Kyle Niehaus, Johnny Villasenor and Zach Williams had one goal apiece. Guillen and Krisjon Phillips both recorded two assists, with Jordan Dubois, Estes and Danny Navarro each had an assist.
The Pirates return to action Friday when they entertain Center at 6 p.m.
Pine Tree's JV teams is idle until Tuesday, March 8 against Kilgore.
