NACOGDOCHES – Jaclyn Friday scored once and assisted on two goals as the Pine Tree Lady Pirates improved to 9-0 in District 16-4A with a 3-1 win over Nacogdoches.

The Lady Pirates were trailing 1-0 at halftime, before a Friday cornerkick was headed in by Stephanie Casto with 22 minutes left to equalize.

Friday scored the go-ahead goal by chipping the ball over the goalie after receiving a pass from Amy Holman four minutes later.

Carolyn Leatherman finished off the scoring with a late goal off another Friday cornerkick.

PT goalkeepers Stephanie Lynch and Shelli Small split time in goal as Pine Tree outshot Nacogdoches 30-9.
